Joseph Maile, a professional violinist, will be joining us on December 27th to play select live chamber music.
Mr. Maile belongs to the Telegraph Quartet, an award-winning string quartet based in San Francisco. With them, he has traveled around the world and played at such venues as San Francisco’s Herbst Theatre and New York’s Carnegie Hall.
He received his Bachelor’s of Music at the Julliard School, studying under Itzhak Perlman and Cathy Cho, and then his Master’s of Music at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University under Kathleen Winkler. Mr. Maile is currently violin faculty at the Pre-College Program of San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Mr. Maile will be accompanied by Starla Raley on piano. Pei-Ling Lin, another member of the Telegraph Quartet and Joseph’s wife, will join him in a violin/viola duet, playing Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante.
